இதுகுறித்து காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்ட ஆட்சித்தலைவர் திருமதி கலைச்செல்வி மோகன், இ.ஆ.ப., அவர்கள் தெரிவித்ததாவது:
உயிர்ம வேளாண்மையில் ஈடுபடும் உழவர்களை ஊக்குவிக்கும் நோக்கில், சிறந்த உயிர்ம உழவர்க்கான நம்மாழ்வார் விருது 2023-2024 ஆம் ஆண்டில் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. 2025-2026 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கும் இத்திட்டம் தொடர்கிறது. இதில் மூன்று சிறந்த உயிர்ம உழவர்களுக்கு தலா இரண்டு இலட்சம் ரூபாய் ரொக்கப்பரிசும் பாராட்டுப் பத்திரமும் வழங்கப்பட உள்ளது.
விண்ணப்பிக்க வேண்டிய தகுதிகள்
- குறைந்தபட்சம் 1 ஏக்கரில் உயிர்ம வேளாண்மை செய்ய வேண்டும்.
- முழுநேர உயிர்ம உழவராக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
- குறைந்தது 3 ஆண்டுகள் உயிர்ம வேளாண்மையில் ஈடுபட்டிருக்க வேண்டும்.
- உயிர்ம வேளாண்மைச் சான்றிதழ் பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும்.
பதிவு செய்யும் முறை
- விருது பெற விரும்பும் உழவர்கள் அக்ரிஸ்நெட் (AGRISNET) வலைதளம் மூலம் 2025 செப்டம்பர் 15க்குள் விண்ணப்பிக்க வேண்டும்.
- பதிவுக்கட்டணம் ரூ.100/-
வெற்றியாளரை தேர்வு செய்யும் அளவுகோல்கள்
- உயிர்ம வேளாண்மையில் தொடர்ச்சியான பணி.
- மண்ணில் உயிர்ம கரிமச்சத்து 1.5% மேல் இருக்க வேண்டும்.
- செலவு–ஆதாய விகிதம் குறைந்தது 1.2 ஆக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
- 1 ஏக்கருக்கு மேற்பட்ட பரப்பளவில் சாகுபடி செய்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
- வேளாண் மற்றும் தோட்டக்கலைப் பயிர்களை உயிர்ம முறையில் சாகுபடி செய்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
- ஒருங்கிணைந்த பண்ணை முறையை பின்பற்ற வேண்டும்.
- விதை, உரம், இயற்கை இடுபொருட்கள் உற்பத்தியில் தற்சார்பு நிலை.
- உற்பத்தி செய்யப்பட்ட இயற்கை இடுபொருட்களை மதிப்புக் கூட்டி விற்பனை செய்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
- பாரம்பரிய விதைகளைப் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.
- மற்ற உழவர்களை உயிர்ம வேளாண்மைக்கு ஊக்குவித்த பணி செய்திருக்க வேண்டும்.

Nammazhvar Award for Best Organic Farmers Announced
For the year 2025–2026, three farmers will be honored with a cash prize of ₹2 lakhs each, along with a certificate of appreciation. This initiative was officially announced by District Collector Mrs. Kalaichelvi Mohan, I.A.S.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 1 acre of organic farming.
- Must be a full-time organic farmer.
- At least 3 years of experience in organic farming.
- Possession of valid organic farming certification.
Application Process:
- Farmers wishing to apply for the Nammazhvar Award must register on the Agrinet website before 15th September 2025.
- Registration fee: ₹100.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Continuous engagement in organic farming.
- Soil organic matter content above 1.5%.
- Cost-benefit ratio of at least 1.2.
- Cultivation of more than 1 acre under organic methods.
- Adoption of organic practices in both agricultural and horticultural crops.
- Implementation of integrated farming systems.
- Self-sufficiency in seed, organic manure, and natural input production.
- Value addition and profitable marketing of organic products.
- Usage of traditional seeds.
- Contribution to motivating and inspiring other farmers towards organic farming.
This scheme aims to strengthen sustainable agriculture practices and honor progressive farmers who inspire others.
